If Gordon gets arrested and goes to jail, I get it. Keep him off the field. Maybe suspend him for a few games for a DUI.
But the NFL actively goes out of its way to try and catch people smoking weed and drinking alcohol? frick, that's ridiculous. I don't really care if he's shooting up heroin on the weekends, so long as he's not harming others. I just want to see him go ham for 200 yards receiving on any given sunday.

I think the issue is not that he's chemically addicted, but alcohol and marijuana are ways to release tension, stress, and anxiety. Obviously that avenue has caused him a lot of problems, but I still don't believe he's an addict.
He needs to find a different way to get rid of his stress, boredom etc.
