Everyone's entitled to an opinion. Barring something unforeseen, Steele and Orgeron should upgrade the talent on the defense through recruiting, and the LSU D-line will likely be more aggressive due to Orgeron. The position coaches are all top notch (Raymond, DB; Steele, LB; Orgeron, DL), so the lingering question that will only be answered by time is, "can the LSU defensive staff properly gameplan and can they make the adjustments to the scheme in-game that are needed?"

spot on. with better personnel on the front 7 we should be a better defense overall.what blows my mind is why we can't recruit LB's and have struggled with DL recruiting also. with chavis gone I think our recruiting of the front 7 improves. I don't a drop off in our position coaching (it probably improves) so game day coaching is the ultimate test.
