sunset rubdown (spencer krug of wolf parade)

I'm not sure if Wolf Parade qualifies as "famous" and I'm not sure I would even call Sunset Rubdown a side project since the quality and quantity of their output became at least equal to Wolf Parade, but any chance I get to pimp Sunset Rubdown, I'm taking it.

Yes! Sunset Rubdown put out some really great shite. Definitely on par with Wolf Parade. Saw them in 2007. Saw Wolf Parade in 2006. Really lovethose bands.

Unified Theory

Chris Shinn - Lead vocals/guitar (Everything Is Energy/Live/son of former Hornets owner George Shinn, but talented nonetheless and a genuinely nice guy)
Christopher Thorn - lead guitar (Blind Melon)
Brad Smith - bass/backing vocals (Blind Melon/Abandon Jalopy)
Dave Krusen - drums (Pearl Jam/Candlebox)

I saw Wolf Parade live in '08, Sunset Rubdown in '09. Both great shows. Krug is probably my favorite songwriter of the past decade. I wish he would go back to making more guitar-centic music.
