I don't do much social media outside of facebook and here, but denying Twitter was/is world changing is dumb. It gives famous people an unadulterated mouthpiece for their thoughts and an easy way to connect with fans. It's not always a good thing, but its revolutionary

Idk what's more hilarious, ppl getting upset that other ppl dismiss twitter, or that ppl get upset that others do use it.
