It would definitely alienate quite a few fans, but at the end of the day, after bitching and moaning, most would pay it, like most LSU fans pay the annual TAF fees. Those that gave up their seats were easily replaced. Look, I'm not endorsing it, but it's certainly possible to do a deal, whether you choose to believe it or not. And a one time PSL is pretty standard in the NFL these days. Personally, I'd pay the 5k fee for my two seats and think most probably would as well. Plus, the PSL is your asset to re-sell should you wish, an old roommate of mine sold his Texans PSL's for double what he paid for them back in '01.

You can think that, but you're crazy. Btw, the PSL revenue would be shared unless it was going for construction or renovations of a new stadium. They would need to create another exemption for this.

Sure, in big markets. The entire state of Louisiana only has 4.6 million people, and we aren't exactly the richest state. People wouldn't pay $2.5k for the rights to their tickets

Kind of like the rights to my tickets now?

Not only is it not possible with the Mannings having control, I don't think the owners would come close to approving an ownership with such limited assets.

And the Saints would go for more than $1.2 million on an open market

Reality check needed - this is not Dallas - I know too many "common" folks, charter member season ticket holders, like me, that have been priced out of the market - something like NOLA real estate, but that is a different subject
