Sherman was wincing like he just got punched in the ball and couldn't even extend his arm out. That would be actively demonstrating that he won't be able to do what he is best at, which is being physical
By that logic, they shouldn't have changed their defense because Peyton manning might've been just playing up the injury. Doesn't make any sense

And how would you act if you were a cornerback faking an injury?
Peyton Manning isn't going to intentionally start throwing ducks to try to manipulate a defense. The two situations do not compare.
