The problem is you have to schedule an away game to get a decent OOC opponent. The away game gets you around $500,000. So you get $4.5 million for 2 games as opposed to $8 million for 2 neutral site games. It is not a financially neutral outcome.

Understood. So why aren't LSU Fans more PO'd that we've undergone a de facto price increase along with having to pay for an additional road trip every year?
This is a large increase when you factor in the math involved. It's not like this process is going away anytime soon. Not as long as Vice Chancellor Alleva continues to pay the $8 million dollar bribe to the Academic side that Jindal ensures they'll always need.
