It was a well done scene:
So far we have not seen any real challenges for Philip in the sexual realm when it comes to his spying. Probably his most "challenging" case we have seen on the show is Martha. And while not being anything to write home about on looks, she fricks like a bag of rattlesnakes so that helps.
We have been shown several less than desirable situations for Elizabeth from old to young to test her "making it real" abilities and several instances where she had to separate the morality of it all from the mission (most notably the time she played the former rape victim to the young, naive military guy). Now we are getting a severe test for Philip with the morality aspect as well as getting a quick glimpse into his training as to what he lengths he had to be tested on his "making it real" abilities.
Again, this show is great.
