In todays world I have no understanding why we still have HBCU's.

We say we truly want a society where the basis of ones success should not be measured by the color of ones skin but we continue to ostracize them from the rest of us

Also, I have no idea why we continue to hand out minority scholarships. Imo, one is not a victim due to the color of your skin and this shite that we continue to do cements this "I'm a minority" mindset many of them have

Given TOPS 'ridiculously easy criteria to receive, minority scholarships in Louisiana is ridiculous. That Advocate article a few weeks ago talking about TOPS not going to minority and/or low income families was a fricking laugh riot. The program doesn't discriminate, and if you honestly can't qualify its easy requirements, just go to trade school and have a healthy middle class life
