We have the largest Department of Transportation workforce in the United States with over 5k employees. We have road projects that have been sitting on desks for over 40 years and this state agency has the highest corruption conviction rate of all the other state agencies combined.

I say, cut Nicholls St., Northwestern St, and Grambling. Keep Southern to still have an HBCU to appease that crowd. But, cutting those three podunk schools from the budget would alleviate financial pressure have the affect on the least number of individuals.
