I don't think they would cast someone who couldn't carry a tune. While people know who Emma Watson is, she's not exactly a box office draw. People won't go see this movie if she can't sing the songs.

Well considering she was posting about going take singing lessons now, we may be in for the hollywood way, autotune the frick out of her.
