More popular and more profitable than ever. Yep, totally running it into the ground. . .

More profitable, butwhy? Do you know anything about the length of television contracts and how they're negotiated. The product has suffered. Virtually every NFL agrees with this. You won't see immediate consequences but the foundation is being eroded

theyve built a fanatic base, but everyone has a threshold. Also, the ratings on CBS more than suggest a waning in popularity. Something as strong as the NFL doesn't erode overnight. These things aren't immediate, and by the time it's imperical, it will be too late. It takes just as much time to build as it does to destroy

The contracts were negotiated in 2011. Two years after the new defenseless player rules and based on the ratings from the previous contracts which meant 10 years of product. The ratings can be up, revenue can be up, but that doesn't mean the foundation isn't being laid for a regression in popularity and revenue.

He is riding the train of massive media deals from cable/broadcast networks desperate to keep live viewers. He has frick all to do with that. ANY person running the NFL would be getting massive profit gains right now. It's straight up being in the right place at the right time.
