Sorry. Agree to disagree. I stated I think electronic music has a place and can be good.
Think about it some more. Electronic artists can be pretty similar to classical composers, except they have the ability to cut out the musicians. There really isn't any real difference between the two in terms of role. The product can be good. It can be bad, depending on the skill of the artist. But the roles are exactly the same.
Would you say that Mozart or Beethoven had less talent than the guy who was in lead chair for the violin section playing their music?
Don't take this as me saying that modern day electronic artists are as talented as Mozart and Beethoven. That's irrelevent and would be missing my point entirely. It's just that you seem to think that a person has to actually play their own music with an instrument to be as talented. At least that seems to be your argument. That's an entirely modern expectation. Things haven't been like that very long.

I just said electronic music can be good. There are tons of examples of this from Radiohead to Kraftwerk to Q-Tips Renaissance album. IMO most rap does not use the medium creatively, but just as a backdrop for false bravado and perpetuation of lame stereotypes.
Most modern rap has a lot in common with 80s hairbands and modern BroCountry.
Again, I'm not saying all of it sucks, just most.
