re: Votto is a Catcher

Last year's draft was the biggest clusterfrick of all time. I believe I have the standings screen capped from 2012 and 2013 when we used Yahoo. I should be able to find the season previews as well to see how everyone was projected versus the final standings. I will look for that later.

2012:

Honkus won the league in its first year on Yahoo. I can't really think of anything that memorable besides that. I notoriously said that Trout was not ready and a waste of $3 in my season preview.

2013:

Thomas won the league in a dominating fashion. He had Kershaw, Scherzer, Harvey, Chris Davis, and Miggy. He traded Harvey for Puig to me and Harvey promptly blew out his arm. I believe we switched from OBP to OPS.

Famous bad trades:

I dealt Matt Cain for Corey Hart. Hart played 0 games in 2013.

I acquired Puig from PSU for Bobby Parnell. That was awesome.

2014:

We switched to ESPN. The draft got fricked up because tchamp was like 15 minutes late, so it autodrafted him like three superstars and he was almost out of money. We restarted after Roll got Freddie Freeman for $28. Honkus then bid him up to like $34. Roll was butthurt and quit the league.

Notorious free agent:

Some people in the league were fapping over Brandon Maurer, and I believe that mwg started him in his first start. He promptly got shellacked for like 8 runs.

There have been other lopsided trades and other hype for a player that flopped, but that is all I can think of now.
