Troof. Lived there for two years for work. Best job market of any city in the U.S., but otherwise, very meh.

Austin as well. Spent several weeks there in the past and went out to 6th street several times, lake Austin and lake Travis and had an ok time but that is about it. Very meh as well.

Houston is aight. The issue with saying Houston is that the premise of this thread is asking what cities are overrated. No one categorizes it with the likes of other major US cities. I have no idea where this 08 cat gets this idea that the food is so awful. The cuisine here is very good and very expansive, a reflection of the fact that it recently passed New York as the most diverse city in America.
