You say it's "therapeutic". Tells me you've been to shrink and have issues.
Here's an entry for you. "Today, I'm not happy. Plus my gf doesn't trust me. I broke up with her. Also, my robe is ghey and Netflix Is my new outlet. I write in you every day so I should be a great mind and a huge success instead of dating psycho chicks and living in this apt above my parents garage"
Come to think of it, didn't captain Kirk keep a journal...cool

No, he kept a log. Logs are manly, especially when exploring all of the suns in our solar system. Journals are for pusses with capricious senses of self that require some thing of themselves be anchored in hard copy.
