Seems to have great chemistry with the new additions. I see Chavis leaving as a big positive bringing new energy to your football program which is loaded with talent.

The new blood in the coaching staff could be just what we need to get us back to the next level. Definately an upgrade in recruiting and at DL coach. As far as DC time will tell but I think we did good. Have lots of respect for coach Chavis but it was time for a change.

Steele not the right guy for the job. Coach O a good pick up.

I am very pleased.
I will hold judgment on Steele's coaching ability.

Already seeing the value on the recruiting trail. Individual defensive units are likely to be improved, especially the front 7. I have no idea how the DC role will look compared to what Chavis did.

Nobody has any idea if this is true. Let's give the guy a chance before making a judgment.

Recruting = Up (2016 class is when we will see some real results)
Coaching = Don't know

I see nothing but positives for Orgeron. As for Steele, it's nice to have new blood, and he should be solid coaching LBs and recruiting. I'll reserve judgment on his DC abilities until I see what he can do at LSU. Overall, I feel really good about it.

Les knows much more about what we need than I will ever know and has IMHO made good hires across the board for the most part. My biggest worry is chemistry- mainly related to Oregeron, time will tell and am hopeful we will have a great 2015, but potential is there (as it alwasy is) for ego fights and players being divided due to off field issues-which is IMHO a signifcant reason we went 8-5 last year.

If he can stop Bama on a last minute drive I'll be happy.

On a scale of 1-10, Miles and this LSU coaching staff break the scale.

When you look at Steele's won/loss record as HC and DC it's not as impressive as Chavis coming in. I trust this is the opportunity he's now ready for. He certainly has the experience with an excellent staff to now excel like never before. My money is he will be exactly what we need.

i overreacted on Steele (negatively). time will tell if he's competent. i think its unfair to look past his entire resume/body of work and focus solely on the orange bowl. that was one of those games where a few turnovers turned into shite rolling down hill. hell, wvu piled up yards on OUR 2011 defense. cant say the upgrade in talent wont help. clemson lost alot after 2010.
coach O- im happy as a pig in shite. beyond his attitude and tireless recruiting, we need the technical and hands on coaching with the d line. reading what the opponents coaches have said about our d lines' lack of technique is all i need to know about brick. above all, i think new faces, new approaches/techniques and new attitudes will infuse some much needed energy into a staff that has seemingly grown fat, happy and complacent.
