Davis will sign his contract extension most likely on July 1st, 2015 for New Orleans regardless of the owner situation. I don't get why so many people are paranoid he is leaving as soon as possible. More info about this can be found here: LINK

Getting a 'Rose Rule' max will likely mean a difference of 25-35 million over the course of his next 5-year contract.

While its more money, here is the good news: ONLY the Pels can give him that contract. Reason #25 its a lock he signs extension this summer.
