His awesome season just happened to coincide with having a Top 5 WR and RB in the NFL (as rookies) on the roster as well as a QB that started multiple games in the NFL and another receiver that will likely be a Top 20 guy next year.

Not to completely dismiss the season, but come on...even an average SEC OC would have had a field day with that talent.

I have to agree with you. My concern is that Cam is good in developing highly talented QBs in pro setting, but not so good in developing good/talented HS QBs into decent college QBs. If this is the case, then next season we'll see similar offense like the last one. Hope Cam proves me wrong!

sad thing is we had the same type of talent at the skill positions (albeit young) but very talented...Just no QB to get them the ball, this is the epic fail of the program...The most important position on the field is a QB. This must be recognized, recruited, developed/coached with an extreme sense of urgency from now until the end of time to have sustained successful program.

This is absolutely correct. Incredible talent, but I do give Cam credit for working with Mett. But please, any decent OC could've done very well with NFL QB, RB, WRs, and OL on the roster in 2013.

But the true test of a great coach is what they do with lesser talent. That's where great coaches work their magic.
