I find less and less people plant rice anymore in gueydan. It isn't the duck capital of the world anymore. It may just be me, but hunting there isn't what it used to be, to me. Some friends leased 800 acres from Dixie Rice and all we really killed were geese for the most part.

Definitely. We see less and less in that area every year. Good bit of geese though
