Hardtops are MUCH quieter inside than driving with a soft top. My husband has no issue taking his hardtop off....just need 2 people to do it unless you have one of those garage wench setups. I have yet to take mine off The freedom panels over the driver/passenger side are easy to take off though.

You could always buy a bikini top setup for your jeep when hardtop is off.

ETA: I LOVE my jeep fwiw. So much fun to drive.

They're pretty easy to replace with a soft top. But, soft tops are awesome for about 2 years. Then they become a pain in the arse. I'm on like my 5th one. As soon as you hit mud, you wish you had a hard top because you just potentially ruined a 250 dollar window set because the zippers hate mud. Almost as much as I do. And good luck not falling off the earth with your mud caked plastic windows up.

I agree with winch (unless you have a strong wench) system in garage. Great way to go. Best of both worlds. No plastic windows and shitty zippers to screw with. Back in, hoist up, drive off. Done. Chance of rain, just leave it on.

Take off the freedom panels and doors and roll like a baller.
