As a guy who was a kid in the 50s and 60s I am sure that I would be absolutely blown away by the fact that people carried around an iPhone that could call anywhere in the world and could get on the internet that could give me an instant answer to just about any question that may arise.

I am sure that I would have been amazed by the fact that the computer in that phone has more power than the computers that took man to the moon.

I never imagined that I would be carrying around such a device. And I view it as both a blessing and a curse.

Yeah, I think hands down the smart phone has to be the winner. I remember as a kid having the brilliant idea in the late 80s of a digital phone book that would be like a little word processor next to your home telephone, where you could type in the inquiry and it would give you the phone number of whoever you were trying to get.

Hell, just the fact that long distance calls are free would have blown my mind. I remember being excited when the 10-10-321 etc numbers came out. Wow! Ten cents a minute for a long distance call? I could call friends who had moved away & talk 20 minutes & it would only cost $2!
