The grown men he's hanging around are the ice harvesters. You are just supposed to accept that ice harvesting is a trade in Arendelle and Kristoff has picked this up as his life's work.

right...but they just left him and then the trolls took him in. He was alone in the wilderness. That is fricked up.

She fricking made it...unless weaving cotton was one of her other powers, it was made of ice.

I don't get this question...is this because Hans gives blankets and soup to Arendelle's residents?

Yes...and then the Duke of Weaseltown says "Are we supposed to stand here while you give away all of Arendelle's tradable goods?"

Indeed, it's pretty fricked up that he's an orphan. However, you don't know how or why. His parents could have just left him. Or they could have tragically passed away. Either way he was taken in by the trolls and befriended Sven and he seems happy. This is part of Disney's tragic storytelling they put in most of their animated films.

I think you are looking too far into it. She basically magically transforms what she was wearing from the coronation into her blue dress. It wasn't made of ice.

I guess I don't know why this is important. Maybe it's just lazy writing and you have a point on this one.
