The money thing is far fetched, but certainly not impossible. I actually have a friend who makes serious bank as a software developer and his wife is a teacher. The numbers are probably similar to those posted by the OP.
As far as the law stuff, you clearly didn't read the original thread were the PI followed her all day. There is plenty of evidence of cheating.

She kissed a guy and went inside. I definitely think she is cheating, but knowing and proving are different.
