Keane of course he still gets called up. Most their national team plays their club ball around the same level.

Uh, no. Keane starts ahead of strikers Jonathan Walters, Shane Long, and Kevin Doyle--all English Premier League starters. He also starts ahead of Celtic striker Anthony Stokes. Keane plays because they know his quality and see that he's still doing well in MLS.

With that said, Giovinco is being paid WAY too much. But, this could be very good for the league. Another guy that isnt yet 30, in his prime, leaving a big team in Europe to come to MLS and he's an Italian national teamer? It gives us gravitas we've always lacked. Only part that sucks is the pricetag.

He's also the captain and has always been better than those guys. So of course he will be called up Point still stands most the Irish national team plays at a similar level. Playing ahead of a Celtic striker shouldn't be hard bc the MLS is a better league.

That's because Stokes is horrible, a headcase, and has a strained relationship with the FA. He doesn't even play as a striker at Celtic anymore.

Wolves is in the EPL?

And Long should always start ahead of Keano now. It's Keano's goalscoring record and leadership qualities in the shirt that have kept him getting called up.
