Not to mention, the university isn't stopping them from pursuing football via some other medium.

If it's so awful at college, go play Canadian football or somewhere else.

Fact is, they know the 2 years at college without a lot of cash is their best route to becoming millionaires at 20.

I can honestly say that The University of Alabama would not be what it is today without the football program. The same goes for some of these other traditional powerhouses who made their reputations on the gridiron.

It's not that and hasn't been for a long time, not sure why we pretend that it is.
