My man, LSU doesn't even protect the rim much.

Mickey is getting great backside college level blocks and collapsing swats against slower, shorter, or equal size collegians.

In the NBA, he would need to pick up SFs out at the arc or in open space, and would need to stay with them due their slashing and/or deep pull-up range.

Mickey may well play in the NBA, but there is plenty of work left to be done on his game. He needs strength/size added, he needs to extend his consistent shooting range another 5 to 8 ft, develop some more iso moves/slashing skills(as his best O material is vertical and moderately stationary stuff near the basket), better grip/driving to his weak side,Hoops IQ/Savvy, etc..

Martin? Don't even go there, he still needs plenty of NCAA work. If he bails early, he'll end up playing in Europe or MidEast.

He needs to hang around one more year so the team can look just like the Dale Brown teams with Macklin and Scales and Sims and Martin and so forth and so on.

Add Simmons and Blakeney to the mix and there will be no more excuses for JJ, but the team will never reach full potential because of X's and O's. But that's better than what's been seen in the PMAC for many years.........
