Anybody watch this yet? Phenomenal...I am willing to go full retard and claim this was one of the best pilots I have ever seen.

Adapted from Philip K. Dick's novel...explores what may have happened had the Axis Powers won WWII, divided up and ruled the United States.

They're going to have to deviate quite a bit (I suspect) from the source material, but regardless - it is a great framework, a great book and a great concept. Plus - Hollywood loves them some Dick (Philp K. Dick, that is - ).

I watched this and the some of the other pilots, Down Dog, Salem Rogers, and Point of Honor.

The Man in the High Castle was the only one I thought was really any good. I was disappointed, because the last time Amazon put out a bunch of pilots, several were very good.

Possible hijack alert!

I want to watch this now and I have Amazon Prime but I have never used it to watch a movie before.

It is telling me I have to "Install Silverlight."
Is this legit?

ETA: Installed Siverlight and watched the show.
It was OK.

I watched this today and was very impressed. I am a big fan of the works of Philip K. Dick and The Man in the High Castle is certainly among his very best. The set-up of the world of the novel in the pilot is really well done and I could easily see a very intriguing television series coming from it. Hopefully it will be picked up because the pilot absolutely left me wanting more.

Basically another version of Fatherland then, yes?

FWIW - the novel Fatherland was much better than the 1994 HBO movie version (starring Rutger Hauer).
