Well the ones at the top are pretty much fool proof and work very well regardless of technique or experience.

And the DE blades themselves cost - literally, pennies. After the initial investment, I'm paying less then $30 (American) for 2 years of blades - versus, whatever, $5 a "blade" that I have to try to stretch for 2 weeks in the cartridges.

So, I guess it all matters what is important to you. If your beard and skin are accustomed to a less than optimal shave, and all you have is 3 minutes? Then I would recommend sticking with your chemsoap and "cartridges" composed of thin slivers of metal (and I won't derogate the quality of the metal - just not enough of it) encased in hugely expensive scaffolding - and just leave the rest of us alone.
