the more i think about it, the more clear it is to me that this was les's choice from day 1 and he just did cya search
recruiting was the alpha, and the omega
couldn't disrupt the positional staff to maintain relationships with our class, plus les hired a recruiter-first, coach-second

I really wanted to ignore the stuff about his love for Steele early on, even prepared for the worst, and then it appeared we were actually going to make a good hire...
This process was a sham, I can't even name one guy associated with it who had a worse resume than Steele.

Yep.
I'm starting to wonder if Les is kinda just giving up. Maybe coach this year, and if things go bad and he gets terminated, he can cash the fat check and retire, or if the same happens after 2016.
Can't imagine he and Alleva are on good terms. Chavis leaving leads me to believe he knows Miles wont be here for 3 more years for whatever reason.
