yeah but its not a bad thing

speeding up the process of innovation is not "killing" innovation

he just sounds bitter that he couldn't milk the trend alone longer

I agree, but I'm not sure that's what he's actually upset about. I think it's about people making ramen with other people's recipes and not innovating. The awesome thing about food is that it's different everywhere you go due to cultural (and subcultural) influence (Louisiana being a perfect example).
