Need to do a leak down test to confirm blown head gasket. But if you are pushing out coolant from the overflow (and not overheating) that is most likely the problem.
A new head gasket on a modern diesel is above the scope of most home mechanics.
Definitely get a quote. If you're around BR, Tricare on Airline specializes in newer diesel repairs.

Any recommendations for the West Monroe area?

I have an 05 GMC 1500 with about 150k miles on it. Guess a couple of weeks ago it started overheating and I had to add coolant. Was a slower leak but now when I park it leaves a big puddle. It's gotten to where every 3 days or so I have to fill it up again. The water pump was replaced about 1-1/2 year and a half ago. Guess it's probably the head gasket?
