Sleep cycle alarm app on your phone. An alarm clock can't measure your sleep cycles and wake you at the optimal time although I guess you could use a Fitbit or similar device.

Do you know any? Fitbit Flex will only wake you at specific time.

I'd be willing to wear something that actually measures/detects my REM cycles and wakes me appropriately.

The one I recall seeing a while back had a setting that would wake you up BY a certain time. So if I set it at 6, but based on my REM cycles, optimal times would be 5:15 or 6:20, it'd wake me at 5:15.
