Gee, you sure told me, although I'm pretty sure I'm not a moron. Maybe it's just how I perceive the maturity level of that stuff. I can't stand the thought of having to even read a chapter of any of that crap or any of those fantasy trilogies, series, etc., that seem to be so popular these days. I also hated things like the The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings junk when I was a kid.

I'd rather read Raymond Chandler, Cormac McCarthy, Margaret Atwood, Hilary Mantel (if you want 16th Century settings), Madison Smart Bell, Ian McEwan, Annie Proulx, etc.

So there!
