I'm sure that we all realize this Truth: the minor leagues and the minor league players for the NFL reside in the major college football programs.

Major League Baseball have minor leagues, teams and players that are overtly labeled "minor league." The sport of football doesn't. The college teams are the minor leagues for the NFL.

The main difference is that the baseball minor league players are paid for their work. College players play for free tuition and no pay.

If the NFL had REAL minor leagues like Major League Baseball, what percentage of these "student athletes" would skip school and play for pay in the NFL minor leagues? Probably about 90 percent would ditch school and play for pay with some minor league pro football team.
