#18 happened by chance when Mauck and Hester had it back to back. Mauck didn't "pass it down" like many believe

This. I agree.
Though I have no problem keeping #18 in circulation as a reminder of the 'Ship, & as a motivator for one to be a team leader thru his senior season.
Love both those 'traditions' (if u can call them that yet)
