Something that should be remembered though is Shoop mentioning something about a timeline that Les had for a hire. It is plausible that IF such a future timeline exists, that Clancy told them he couldn't wait around.

With all the allegedly available positions for this guy, he might land at wsu? You'd think this would reduce the melt.

Somebody previously posted that one of CP's conditions for accepted a DC job was he wanted to be able to select his own assistant coaches.
I'd like to see whether he gets to do that with any job he ends up accepting.
