the excerpt from the article specifically said....

Chavis said upon arrival in College Station, "I'm excited to play with a great offense."


Guy coulda said 10,000 other things. He could have said, I'm excited to coach for a team with such great tradition, I want to be a part of the 12th man, I am excited to be a part of building A&M from the ground up....

but all he had to talk about was the "great offense"....

This is the report. I'm taking it that he was burned out on keeping us in games until the "D" wore down.

The 4th quarter meltdowns are his deal for sure, I'm not taking up for him.
