you can only roll so much per year if i recall correctly. if we're able to comfortably swallow a byrd or graham bonus now and have 2 mill or more extra in 3 remainging years or whatever, its a good thing, a million here and there adds up. It's definitely an option either way but only mickey and payton know to an extent what they think they want to spend in fa's etc or what they overall game plan might be. We got to trim the fat before we worry too much about trimming the lean meat on the roster.
