This game is really going to need to change up the fighting mechanics to hold my attention. No amount of graphics upgrades and bat-mobile gameplay will keep my attention if the combat system is the same as the 3 Arkham games and Shadows of Mordor. It needs a real change.

I can go back and play Asylum all day long, but I'm really not bothered to revisit the others, honestly.

rocksteady has made 2 games
it was incredibly different from 1 to 2 with new animations, quick fire gadgets, etc. origins was a copy and paste...it wasn't rocksteady...and the combat is awesome so I loved it, but I'm not holding anything against AK because of this game
shadow of mordor...again, fun game, but it's neither batman nor rocksteady
I agree they need to add some variety and I have no doubt they will. I don't know about wholesale changes though. have you ever played a game with a better combat system?
