Alleva is a money man. That's it. He doesn't care about the quality of team we put on the field until its decline starts eating away at revenue. He wouldn't green light the firing or "demotion" of Crowton following 2009, and we lucked out after Maryland took him off our hands after 2010. I hope he stays out of this until it's time for his name to be signed on the contract.

There really are some ignorant people on this board. I assure you Joe Alleva is smarter than these posters.

I am far from an Alleva apologist, but at some point you have to acknowledge the fact that Alleva has greenlighted having the highest paid asst coaching staff in the country.

At some point, it'd be within the realm of his duties to talk with Les about the spending spree on assistants and results on the field not currently trending with it. (albeit a short trend)

That said, pay Shoop whatever it takes!
