I agree they will match. Penn St. has a ton of money and one of, if not the biggest, alumni in the country.
Shoop gave them the #2 defense in the country this year and they need him to be the rock in their rebuilding process.
I see this as a contractual game for him and I don't blame him for it.

Put in the contract that he gets paid for 5 years after Les is fired or retired. Put in the contract that he gets $5M if he isn't made HC after Les. Put in the contract that he gets weekly rub downs from Asian sex slaves. I don't care.
