This guy was a Vietnam vet with major PTSD and was off his meds. Apparently he had no criminal record whatsoever. Just had a real bad mental meltdown. Sad situation all around.

This is such a bullshite fricking line. You can blackout or wake up from a nightmare that you're acting out, sure but blaming you being a homicidal maniac on PTS is bullshite.
Myself and many of the guys from my units have PTS and you know how many times we shot or stabbed or rampages on people?
None.
People with PTS hurt themselves bc they hate the fact they're alive. It's a bullshite cop out.
