3. Team Causey

Hitting Rank - 2
Pitching Rank - 4

The offense plays, really really well. I have him ranked in the top 3 of the league in each category besides SB, and even there he is good enough to win a lot of weeks. There really isn't a weakness here. Have some upside plays with Gattis, Bogaerts, and Martin to go along with reliable options that have results year in and year out.

The pitching is almost equally as good with Kershaw and Sale leading the way. Outside of those two I'm not a huge huge fan of the rest of the starting pitching, but there is stability there with Gio, Cashner, Odorizzi, and Tillman. The relief pitching won't blow you away, but there are save opportunities there.

As much as I want to be biased, I just couldn't fudge the numbers enough to be ranked #1. I'm a little disappointed with my offense post draft but there is enough pop and speed to win the majority of the offensive categories each week. If everything falls in line, that 5 ranking could change to 2 or 3 but that is counting on a majority of my players to repeat their career years from last year. Tough task to ask.

A lot won't agree with my pitching ranking, but I love my rotation. I have Arrieta, Hamels, and Ross ranked in my top 20 with Fiers, Shoemaker and Hughes in the top 30 this year. Peavy provides some stability incase Fiers or Shoemaker flame out. The relief is there and should be among the top in the league if they can stay healthy.
