Seemed like they replaced heavy lifting with gross food/drink.

wait, what? The eating/drinking was WAY easier this go around than previous challenges. They even had a way to get out of it if they could complete the tasks, which no one could.

I remember in the past they had to eat through an entire buffet of what amounted to plates and plates of dogshit dipped in fish guts, mixed in with fish scales and arse hair.

Other than the final mountain climb, this challenge final felt cheap.

Someone asked Theresa on Twitter how they got back down the mountain at the end of the final and she said they had to walk all the way back down. MTV couldn't spring for a helicopter? Also that the first day once they got to the shore was a bout 30 miles long.

Exactly.

Agreed.

I still enjoyed it, but it was definitely much easier than it normally is.

Speaking of that, what are some of the hardest final challenge tasks that we've seen. I think one of the worst ones was when they had to look at the camp setup and momorize it and walk/run some ungodly distance and recreate the scene, and then go back and forth until it was perfect. That was insane at that point in the challenge...I remember one or two groups ended up going almost into the night.

Another one that stands out is that one where they had to put the street signs in the proper order, and every street/place name was long and similar to other ones. That was tough.

Not saying it was easier or harder I'm saying they completely dropped heavy lifting for gross food/drink.
