Jax- can you point out specifically what in the article you disagree with.

"One bad season " may be an oversimplification.

"The program has gone from 8-0 in the SEC to 6-2 to 5-3 to 4-4. LSU has lost three of its last four bowl games."

We are on a downward path, we have gotten worse since the title game. Miles can recruit but his coaching isn't a program changer. He wins with loads of talent in spite of Miles. He has yet to recruit and develop a QB himself. Mett wasn't all because of Miles. I think most can see the reality of the situation. Les has sucked the life and excitement out of the program. Its not very enjoyable anymore. Les has won a lot here but he is also very fortunate he hasn't lost a lot. He has had a lot of luck over the years but his luck is running out. The SEC as whole is getting stronger, recruiting well, and developing players. LSU was expected to lose a few games this year but in reality, the entire season was a failure. We failed to develop or make any type of improvements in the passing game. The offensive line next year could be a question mark, as well as a few positions on defense. Unless LSU develops a decent passing attack. We will not win our division next year.

Well I hate the idiot posi-tigers that refuse to open their eyes to the facts!!!

LSU was first in the West in 2011, tied for second in 2012, third in 2013 and tied for fourth this season.

hmmmmm there seems to be a trend there, are you fricking smart enough to figure it out?????

One down year? What do you consider down?

2008 8-5, 3-5 SEC
2009 9-4, 5-3 SEC
2014 8-5, 4-4 SEC

That's 3 of the last 7

Actually Les has put LSU indecline since 07. 2011 is the outlier. Les has failed us at the most important position on the field, and I'm afraid he is now to far behind our rivals to catch up.

Here's "ignorance":

2011: 13-1 (Ended year embarrassed in NC Game)
2012: 10-3 (Promising 10-2 year squashed by loss to Clemson in bowl)
2013: 10-3 (9-3 regular season; expectations high but we underperformed, squeeked out bowl win over Iowa)
2014: 8-5 (Crappy year with blowout losses, ended on a program defining note loss to a crippled and depleted ND team in toilet bowl and losing our best coach by a mile to a division rival over nothing more than "contract issues")

Current situation is juniors once again jumping ship to NFL, no idea who our DC will be and we just had to sit through another year of shite QB play with no idea what we'll see next year at the spot because Miles is beyond stubborn for some reason with this position.

Any half-wit can see where this program is going currently.

With the talent LSU has, how many BCS bowls or former BCS bowls have the Tigers played in during the last 7 years?

I hate to bring BAMA into anything but I heard the Paul Finebaum show last night and honestly that made me sick. They were speaking about how the dynasty for Bama was over. They lose one game and all of a sudden they are no longer the same team that has been #1 at some point each of the last 7 seasons. I truly find the short attention spans of today scary...

I agree. Its one season, we will be back strong next year.
