Without a doubt, if Brick won't get off his arse (or will recruit him to TAMU or Miss St), get Frank on the phone with him.

Better yet, rule changes last year made some administrative personnel legal to recruit (so the rules could catch up to the Gumps). Hire Ed O in one of those positions on a 2mo contract and have a conference call.

At the end of the day I get the feeling that Mack is one of those Texas people that think anything outside that state is just crap. And that's not just a recruit thing, it's a Texan thing. We've probably all met those type.

He's taken no official visits outside the state and only one unofficial outside Tejas, and that was to us. The only official visit he had scheduled outside the state was us, which he promptly canceled after Chavis left; seemed like a convenient excuse because Ensminger and Brick were his recruiters. At the very least he's not interested in seeing what else is out there. So be it.
