Hell yes, one of the best additions to I10 between BR and NOLA. Not sure on statistics, but those crossover crashes are nearly unheard of now. They were ridiculous aftef Katrina.

Saw a car go off the road yesterday on I-10 and the cable stopped him from going across. He would have hit someone head on otherwise.

Yea youtube it..Stop's semi's too. Crazy how it isn't mandatory to have along side entire interstate, could save a lot of lives.

Yes, they absolutely do. Crossover accidents were a big problem in SC before they went up.
