With all due respect, this is bull shite. You pick a school based off RELATIONSHIPS, one of the most important being the relationship between you and your position coach. That's the coach you'll be spending the most time with once on campus. Obviously a recruit needs to feel comfortable with the head coach and current players as well.

You do this and you end up being a journeyman player transferring whenever that coach leaves or you end up unhappy because your only reason for picking the school is now gone. As a recruit, you have to realize that the coaches that are recruiting you are only salesman for their program. Most of the time, the coach assigned to you does not even coach the position you play. As a recruit, you need to make the decision on what the school offers you to make you grow as a man, student, and player to prepare you for the rest of your life. You don't make a decision because the assistant that is recruiting you is cool.
