Yeah. On our .50cal mounts, every 5th round was a tracer round. Granted this was early 2000's on an aircraft carrier and not in the shite during WWII...I'm assuming they've been around that long ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/icons/shrug.gif)

If anything, I was blown away by the quality of the tank rounds and how they bounces and rebounded off things. It was incredible and scary.
